Mi Mi, nestled at 686A Gerrard St E in Toronto, has garnered praise for its delightful Vietnamese offerings and warm service. Customers rave about the comforting, flavor-packed dishes that define the restaurant's menu. Marina Attia found solace on a rainy day with bun rieu and pho dac biet, both lauded for their satisfying portions and taste. Meanwhile, Chris Tse highlighted the smoky goodness of the BBQ beef and pork vermicelli, complemented by fresh fish sauce.
The vermicelli bowls, particularly the one featuring grilled beef and spring rolls, are standout items that many, including Cassia A, can’t stop raving about. The balance of smoky marinated meats with tender vermicelli noodles creates a transcendent experience for the palate.
Family-owned and operated, Mi Mi exudes warmth and a genuine passion for food. With an emphasis on fresh ingredients and traditional flavors, the restaurant invites you to savor the richness of Vietnamese cuisine. As Jordana R shares, each dish, from BBQ beef to their exceptional pho, is crafted with care, ensuring diners leave thoroughly satisfied. Overall, Mi Mi promises not just a meal but a memorable dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.

Really good food and great service. We stopped in here on a rainy day and it was the perfect comfort food. I had bun rieu and my partner had pho dac biet - both were delicious and very satisfying. The portion size was great for the price. We also had the pork spring rolls, which were excellent. We will definitely be back

Number 100 BBQ beef and pork vermicelli was soooo good. Super smokey and flavourful meat. The fish sauce was very clean and fresh. Good quick service as well, but we went at an off hour so the restaurant was pretty empty.

Perfect spot for fresh and flavourful Vietnamese cuisine. Small on the restaurant size but big on the taste. Many dishes to choose from, bring cash only, and be prepared to wait or order out. When in the neighborhood, make sure to check it out!

Actually insanely delicious. The highlight was the vermicelli bowl with grilled beef, pork sausage, and spring rolls. The meat was so good. Also the pho (rare beef pho) was sooo good. Well above average in Toronto, I’d say. The vibes are great and they’re super nice. Lots of space to sit. Food is really fast.

I love this restaurant. It’s family owned and operated. Every dish is packed with flavour and absolutely scrumptious, but my go-to order is always the BBQ Beef Vermicelli. At its core, this dish is a perfect balance of elements: smoky, marinated barbecue beef; tender vermicelli noodles; fresh herbs; and a sweet-salty-tangy sauce that ties everything together. The beef is really what makes it so special—thinly sliced, marbled with just the right amount of fat, and cooked flawlessly. While the BBQ beef is my usual go-to, their BBQ pork is just as delicious, with a slightly sweeter profile, and the sugarcane shrimp—juicy and fragrant—is another highlight worth mentioning. P.S. Their pho is fantastic too. You really can’t go wrong here if you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommend!

Updated: I've been coming back almost every two weeks, and I have to say — their banh mi is so good! Honestly, it's better than a lot of places I've tried. The Vietnamese iced coffee is also super refreshing, especially during the summer. I can't recommend this place highly enough! We went for lunch and the owner suggested two popular dishes and we ordered her suggestions. Oh man the food was really good and the service was excellent. Very recommended Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood. We will be back for sure.

This family-owned restaurant offers a great selection of authentic Vietnamese food. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, especially if you are interested in the less typical pho dishes. They will explain the flavors and what to expect, ensuring you enjoy your meal. We ordered Bun Rieu, which is not commonly found in most Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto, and Bun Cha Gio. Both dishes were very flavorful and delicious. For a small eater, the portion size was perfect. However, if you’re very hungry, you might need to add an appetizer to make it a full meal. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you’re getting. I would recommend friends to try it if they’re in the area.

[CASH ONLY or e-transfer] (No debit/credit ) Amazing Pho!!! We had the Rare Beef Pho and the chicken pho! The broth was very very good!! The restaurant is newly renovated! So looks a lot better than some of the older pics show. Fast service! There’s an atm there but they accept etranfer, so that’s a better option.
